2. General information

Personal data is processed only where necessary to operate this website, respond to enquiries, fulfil contractual or legal obligations, protect legitimate interests, or where you have given consent. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as applicable, together with Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021) for access to or storage of information on your device.

3. Website access and server logs

When you access the website, the web server may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and access status. This data is required to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose technical faults. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, stable and efficient operation of the website. Hosting and IT service providers may receive this data as processors. Log data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for these purposes, unless longer storage is required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, including your contact details and the content of your enquiry, in order to respond. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries. Data is retained until the enquiry has been conclusively dealt with. If the communication leads to a contract or is relevant to accounting, taxation or legal claims, it may be retained for the applicable statutory periods. Tax-relevant records are generally retained for seven years under Austrian law. Email and IT service providers, professional advisers or public authorities may receive data where necessary and legally permitted.

Email communication with the address shown above is currently provided through Google. Google Ireland Limited and, where relevant, affiliated companies may process technical and communication data in accordance with their terms and privacy information.

5. Cookies and consent settings

The website may use technically necessary cookies to provide functions requested by you. These cookies may be used without consent where they are strictly necessary. The current website sets the first-party cookie “pll_language” to remember the selected language; it may remain stored for up to one year. If the website remains permanently English-only, this cookie and the related language component should be removed.

Non-essential cookies and comparable technologies, in particular for audience measurement, are used only after your prior consent in accordance with Section 165(3) TKG 2021 and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. 6. Google Analytics

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website and improve its content and performance. The website currently uses Google tag ID GT-NBJ74D3.

Google Analytics may process online identifiers, cookie identifiers, IP address and approximate location, device and browser information, pages viewed, interaction events and timestamps. Google Analytics commonly uses the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_<container-id>”, which have a default lifetime of up to two years. User-level and event-level data is retained according to the setting selected in the Google Analytics account and Google’s applicable retention rules. Google Analytics offers account settings of two or fourteen months for relevant data categories.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 165(3) TKG 2021. Google Analytics must remain blocked until consent is given. Data may also be processed by Google LLC in the United States. Transfers may be based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Google Fonts

The current website retrieves certain font stylesheets, including Open Sans and Ubuntu, from Google servers. When these resources are loaded, technical request data, including your IP address, may be transmitted to Google Ireland Limited and possibly Google LLC. Because externally loaded fonts are not strictly necessary, they must be loaded only after consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 165(3) TKG 2021. To minimise data transfers, these fonts should instead be hosted locally; if all fonts are local, this section can be removed.

8. External links and social media

The website contains links to external services such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and SoundCloud. If these are implemented as ordinary links, data is transmitted to the respective provider only when you click the link and leave this website. The destination provider is responsible for its own processing. If embedded players, feeds or similar third-party content are added in the future, the privacy information and consent configuration must be updated before use.

9. Recipients and international transfers

Depending on the processing activity, recipients may include hosting and IT providers, email providers, analytics providers, professional advisers and public authorities. Processors are engaged under appropriate contractual arrangements where required. If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, unless another legal basis applies.
